JŪNMIL

JŪNMIL is a small, one-person design studio founded by Mābu Nauendorff, a German graphic designer, photographer, and journalist. At its core, JŪNMIL is driven by a passion for language, and intercultural dialogue. In 2019, Mābu launched Linguaphile Magazine, an independent publication dedicated to exploring minority and endangered languages. This project deepened his engagement with linguistic diversity, inspired him to study and experiment with typography across various writing systems, and shift his photographic focus toward journalism and print. JŪNMIL offers a range of products, including zines, books, prints, and interior items that celebrate language, typography, and culture.

JŪNMILは、ドイツ出身のグラフィックデザイナー/写真家/ジャーナリストである、マブ・ナウエンドーフが設立した、デザインスタジオです。JŪNMILの核となるのは、言語や異文化対話への情熱です。
2019年、マブは『Linguaphile Magazine』を創刊しました。この独立系出版物は、少数言語や消滅の危機にある言語を探求することを目的としています。このプロジェクトを通じて、彼は言語の多様性への関心を深め、さまざまな文字体系を用いたタイポグラフィの研究と実験を始めました。また、写真の焦点もジャーナリズムや印刷物へとシフトしていきました。
JŪNMILでは、言語・タイポグラフィ・文化をテーマにしたジン、書籍、プリント、インテリアアイテムなど、さまざまなプロダクトを展開しています。
